Computers and heat don’t play along well. There are many components that make up a computer, the one single component that runs the hottest - is the processor. It’s also the smallest component in your machine. The processor can be as small as 2″x2″, but it generates 100 degree temperatures. I have used OnCall 25/8 twice. They performed their services in a professional, competent and timely manner.

The first instance involved a destroyed USB thumb drive. The actual USB connector had broken off. They re-soldered the hardware and performed the data recovery (100% effective).

The second instance involved a 1 TB external hard drive. This drive was approximately 70% full (700GB) of large video and audio files (Final Cut Pro). The drive malfunctioned and would fail to show its file structure, even thought the drive would mount and register as 70% full. Again, OnCall 25/8 performed a flawless data recovery. Considering the amount of information, the time it took was astounding. Further, they asked me to come down and verify the data before continuing.
